The 2nd Annual HbD Hockey Pool!

Hey HbD readers, a new hockey season is upon, which means it’s hockey pool time. And this year, we’re running the 2nd Annual HbD Hockey Pool to give all of you a chance to win some free HbD Market merchandise (and some custom merchandise, for the Grand Prize winner)!

The pool is simple, easy and completely free.

How It Works

The format is a Box Pool. If you’re not familiar with Box Pools, it’s mean to be pretty simple and low-maintenance: specific players (and teams) are placed into groups, and you just need to pick the one player (or team) from that group that you think will get the most points by the end of the year.

There’s a specific point system, so make sure you check it out before you pick your players/teams.

There will be a limited number of 10 trades available as well, as injuries and bad decision-making are always a part of hockey pools.

Grand Prize
The person who has the most points at the end of the regular season will receive:

Runners-Up Prize
The people who place second and third at the end of the regular season will receive:

Monthly Prizes
Every month, the person who gets the most points for that calendar month will receive:

Then set up your account, select your players/teams, and you’re done! Again, make sure you check out the points system before you pick your players/teams as it could affect which players/teams you may pick (and it has been slightly altered from last year).

You have until Wednesday, October 4th at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific to register before the pool is closed and your picks are locked in.

Good luck, have fun and happy pooling! And, of course, don’t forget to shop the HbD Market. Christmas is coming, so get your stuff early!

Hey Kevin, if you log into with the user/pass you created, you should be able to get back in. Let me know if you have any other questions.
